St. Johns County Schools once again received an A rating in the latest Niche.com rankings, but the district dropped from #2 to #3 in the state.
How Did It Compare to Other Districts?
Despite the slip, St. Johns County led Florida in math and English proficiency rates:
- Math: 76% proficiency
- Reading: 72% proficiency
These scores were higher than both new #1 Seminole County (60% in both subjects) and #2 Sarasota County (64% in math, 62% in reading).
Other top districts included Clay (#4) and Collier (#5), both of which received A ratings. Clay made the biggest jump, rising from #6 last year.

Enrollment Growth
