Tulip finally has a home.
After spending six months at the St. Johns County Animal Shelter, the longtime resident was adopted this week—just in time for the holidays.
The shelter shared the happy news on Facebook, posting a photo of Tulip and celebrating her new beginning.
Even after waiting so long, Tulip never gave up hope. Last month, staff members described her as playful, full of energy, and always ready to run, play, and splash in her pool.
That patience paid off on Thursday when Tulip finally met her perfect match.
“The staff was overjoyed to see her begin a new adventure after patiently waiting for her perfect match,” the shelter wrote on Facebook. “Tulip went home with a loving person who instantly connected with her and is eager to shower her with love and care.”
The heartwarming moment had everyone at the shelter cheering for Tulip’s bright future.
