The initiative involves creating a mobile application that will encourage citizens to vote ethically and with knowledge. The app intends to offer voters across the nation a single point of service and information delivery.

The app provides the following facilities to Indian voters:

A. Check your name on the electoral roll using the hashtag “#GoVerify”
B. Filling out online forms for new voter registration, moving to a different constituency, voting from abroad, removing your name from the electoral roll, correcting your entry, and moving up in the Assembly.
C. Track the disposition of complaints involving electoral services and register them.

e-EPIC Card Download Instructions

The ability to download an e-EPIC card or a digital voter ID card will be available to voters starting on January 25, 2021, at nbsp. in.

any general electors with a current EPIC number. All new voters who applied between November 2020 and December 2021 and whose mobile phone provided during the application is unique will receive an SMS and be able to download e-EPIC between January 25 and December 31, 2021. As on February 1, 2021, other general electors may download e-EPIC. (However, they won’t receive any SMS).

According to Election Commission authorities, the e-elector picture identity card is a non-editable digital version of the elector photo identity card that may be saved in places like a digital locker and printed in PDF format.

The Voter Helpline App, https://voterportal.eci.gov.in/, and https://www.nvsp.in/ all provide access to a digital version of the Elector Photo Identity Card.

To download an e-EPIC card, follow these steps.

Voters can use the following instructions to get e-EPIC from http://voterportal.eci.gov.in/, https://nvsp.in/, the Voter Helpline, or a mobile app:

  • Login/Register on the Voter Portal
  • From the menu, select Download e-EPIC.
  • Enter the Form Reference Number or EPIC number.
  • If your mobile number is registered with Eroll, you can verify it using the OTP that was issued to it.
  • Choose “Download e-EPIC”
  • If your mobile number isn’t already included in Eroll, click e-KYC to finish the KYC process.
  • Obtain a successful Face liveness verification
  • For KYC, update your mobile number.
