Former President Trump slammed Forbes magazine after it removed him from its annual list of the wealthiest Americans for the second time.
In a Truth Social post on Monday, Trump blasted the magazine, calling it “very badly failing” and claiming it “lost most of its relevance long ago.”
President Donald J. Trump said that Forbes “took me off their Fake Forbes 400 list, just by a ‘whisker,’ even though they know that I should be high up on that now very dated and discredited ‘antique.'”
The magazine revealed last week that Trump had been dropped from its list of the 400 wealthiest Americans for the second time in three years, citing Trump’s estimated $2.6 billion worth, which fell $300 million shy of the threshold needed to make the list.
“For years Forbes has attacked me with really dumb writers assigned to hit me hard, and I am now up 60 Points on the Republicans, and beating Crooked Joe by a lot,” Trump stated in an email. “So much for Forbes!”
The Forbes news comes as New York Attorney General Letitia James (D) is suing Trump in a civil fraud trial there. She claims the former president exaggerated the worth of his businesses and residences and deceived business partners.
