Sprouts Farmers Market is set to open a new location in St. Johns County, bringing its fresh produce and organic foods to the area. The store will be located at 120 Shops Blvd in the Shoppes of St. Johns Parkway, taking over a space previously occupied by Earth Fare, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record.

Growing Demand for Healthy Foods

As more shoppers prioritize organic and natural foods, Sprouts continues to expand. The chain already has stores at St. Johns Town Center and Jacksonville Beach, and its latest addition will increase access to fresh, healthy options in the region.

A Legacy of Fresh Produce

Sprouts traces its roots back to Henry Boney, a California fruit seller who opened a roadside stand in San Diego in 1943. Over the years, his family expanded the business, launching their first brick-and-mortar store in 1969. In 2002, they rebranded as Sprouts Farmers Market, and the company has since grown to more than 400 locations across 23 states.

The St. Johns County store is currently under construction and is set to open in the coming months.
