The Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill property has been sold for $5 million, but a staff member told The Citizen that the popular waterfront restaurant will keep running as usual.

The sale, completed on November 1, included two separate pieces of land, each selling for $2.5 million, according to public records.

Built in 1965, the restaurant is 8,974 square feet and includes a fishing gear shop. It sits on 0.82 acres, while the nearby parking lot covers 1.65 acres.

Toni Kara, from Ponte Vedra Beach, sold the restaurant through Palm Valley Marina Holdings LLC to Beth Brown, from Jacksonville, through BB Woodside LLC, records show. Brown also bought the parking lot from Kara’s CGEF LLC.

Records show Kara co-owns Palm Valley Outdoors Bar & Grill with Wonton Landing LLC. The registered agent and manager of Wonton Landing LLC is Brown’s husband, Paul Rohan. Both BB Woodside LLC and Wonton Landing LLC are registered at the same address.

Located along the busy Intracoastal Waterway and near the Palm Valley Bridge, the restaurant is a weekend hotspot. It opened 10 years ago and is known for its seafood and comfort food.
