Jacksonville is about to get its first Shake Shack.

The popular burger chain, originally from New York City, will open next week at St. Johns Town Center. Doors open at 11 a.m. at 10281 Midtown Parkway, Unit 101.

Shake Shack is famous for its burgers, hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, and frozen custards. The brand already has 21 locations in Florida and over 500 worldwide.

Hours and Menu

The new Jacksonville location will be open daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Sunday–Thursday) and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (Friday–Saturday).

Besides burgers, the menu includes chicken sandwiches, grilled cheese, and veggie options. Customers can also order beer and wine.

Shake Shack’s Journey

Shake Shack started as a small hot dog stand in New York’s Madison Square Park in 2000. It quickly became a favorite, leading to a permanent kiosk in 2004. The chain expanded, opening its first Florida location in Miami Beach in 2010.

• Burgers: $8.99 to $12.49, depending on toppings.
• Fries: $5.19 to $7.89, with extras like cheese available.
