The owners of Camachee Cove Marina are planning to turn part of the Harbor Drive property into a large restaurant with extra parking, according to a recent application. The proposed restaurant would cover 9,000 square feet and require 76 additional parking spaces.

Camachee Cove Marina currently has 230 wet slips, four lift slips, fuel pumps, and a service area, according to its website. The marina recently added a dock for “super yachts” that can accommodate boats up to 175 feet long.

Boat owners at the marina are part of a community that enjoys boating, fishing, and sailing.

The marina is owned by Stefan Johannsen, a businessman from Sweden with a background in the maritime industry.

Camachee Cove was in the news in 2022 when reports surfaced that Russian billionaire Igor Makarov’s $7 million yacht, Areti 1, was docked there.
