Private clubs in Ponte Vedra Beach are expanding beyond Ponte Vedra Boulevard.

Oil industry leader and well-known conservative figure Alex Cranberg is planning a new restaurant and members-only club on North Roscoe Boulevard. He recently bought a 1.34-acre property at 301 N. Roscoe Blvd for $4.1 million and will develop the project under Shark Tooth Dining LLC.

Cranberg told The Citizen that the club will bring together some of the area’s most well-known and influential people.

“The owners of Shark Tooth Dining will create a unique restaurant and club for Ponte Vedra,” he said. “It will serve the community in a welcoming and beautiful space, with members including some of the area’s most interesting and notable residents and visitors.”

A New Vision for a Historic Location

Cranberg, a strong supporter of school choice and CEO of Aspect Energy, said more details about the project will be shared next year.

The property was previously home to Lulu’s restaurant, which closed in 2021 and has remained empty since.

Located along the Intracoastal Waterway, the restaurant will have space for 207 guests, with both indoor and outdoor seating. Plans also include 69 parking spots.
