Former President Donald Trump has called for NBC News to be investigated and pledged to scrutinize media outlets if he retakes the presidency in 2024. Trump claimed that the vicious coverage by NBC News and its affiliates was a “big” campaign contribution to the Democratic Party, following an interview with NBC’s Meet the Press. Trump criticized the media for their dishonest and corrupt coverage, particularly MSNBC, which he called a “Country Threatening Treason.”
He also called for the investigation of other media outlets, calling them a “true threat to democracy” and the “enemy of the people.” Trump said that when he returns to the White House, he would thoroughly scrutinize these media outlets for their knowingly dishonest and corrupt coverage of people, things, and events. He questioned why NBC or any other corrupt media companies should be entitled to use the valuable airwaves of the USA free, as they are a true threat to democracy and the enemy of the people.
Trump’s comments come after he lashed out at Gen. Mark Milley in another Truth Social post, accusing him of being a “woke train wreck” who was dealing with China to give them a heads-up on the thinking of the President of the United States. He believes that a war between China and the United States could have been the result of this treasonous act.
