Good news for Indian food lovers—a new restaurant and grocery store are coming to St. Johns County!
Chicha’s Cafe and Desi Pantry will open at 104 Ashourian Ave. in The Forum at Greenbriar shopping center, according to the Jacksonville Daily Record. The two businesses will take up four units in the plaza.
The Indian market will cover 4,036 square feet, offering groceries and pantry staples, while the restaurant will be 2,257 square feet, serving up traditional dishes. Unlike some other food chains, both businesses are locally owned.
The Forum at Greenbriar already has several popular restaurants, including Poppy’s Italiano and Zen and Ginger. The new Indian spot will be located near St. Johns Parkway and Old County Road 210.
